How a box moves through the plant

Incoming reels are tested (GSM, burst, bursting factor, RCT) before they are accepted. A Process Plan for each customer and product holds the box design and the paper for every layer, and calculates the deckle, cutting size, boards and layer weights. The Job Card turns the sales order into a paper request with standard wastage, paper is issued against the job, and every stage – corrugation, printing, stitching or gluing, bundling and dispatch – is recorded as its own production entry with good output, rejection and downtime by reason.
