Shop floor teams hate filling long forms to tell the ERP what already happened. So we made production drag and drop.
Today, every issue, consumption and stage transfer is a form. With the boards, one drag is one entry, checked, saved, numbered and undoable.
Pick up a card. Valid targets glow green with a dashed edge. Drop it, and a toast shows the entry number with an Undo button.
It starts in Route Studio, where each item’s stages are mapped by drag, including branches and the next stages each one may send to.
On the order desk, sales order lines become a work order and are released with one drag. On the material board, the whole pick list is issued to the stage in one drag.
On the stage board, every lot is a card. Start it on a machine, complete it with rejection, send ready lots to the next stage, merge, rework, or send finished goods to the main store.
On the machines and downtime board, each machine is a tile. Drag a reason chip onto a machine, and the downtime is recorded.
The control tower shows the floor at a glance, every drag as an entry in a register, and lot trace from finished goods back to raw material and heat number.
Only valid moves are allowed, every entry can be undone, and the boards refresh themselves every thirty seconds.
